Douglas Francis Dunstan - Master 1973, born 1906, was for many years an Insurance Executive and General Manager of the Victory Insurance Company. He was a man of many parts; for some years an active member of the Honourable Artillery Company and later saw service during World War 11 with the Royal Air Force.
Douglas was a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a director of the British Humane Association. He was also a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Coopers, as well as of the Farriers Company, was a member of the City Livery Club, a Past Master of The Guild of Freemen and an active member of a number of other organisations within the City of London.
Widely travelled, there can be few parts of the world which were not familiar to him, and one had good reason to believe that the warmth of his personality was the reason he had made many friends in places as far apart as America and Australia.
Douglas Francis Dunstan was married to Rona and died in 1999.
